A man has been arrested from Kolkata airport after 4 rounds of bullets were found in his hand baggage. According to the reports, the man - Md. Ghalib had arrived at the Kolkata airport along with his mother from Bihar. The duo was booked on a Bengaluru flight on Friday.
However, during the security check, the CISF officials noticed the bullets as the bag went under scanning. They were 7.56 caliber bullets. Ghalib was immediately detained and interrogated. Officials said that his answers were not justifiable nor could he produce any paperwork for the bullets.
Following this, he was handed over to the police and a case was registered against him. He will be produced before the Barrackpore court today.
